Due to
Massimo’s fondness for motorcycles Il Vichiaccio is also the
headquarter of a fan club known as “The Twins Academy”, and it is
often the venues for rallies and gatherings among bikers of any
sort, whether they love sport bikes, touring bikes or off-road
bikes.
In order to help our guests who
decide to spend their holiday on a bike, Massimo offers a garage and
a fully equipped workshop for those emergency repairs, on the top of
his own multi-year experience as a car mechanic and motorbike DIY
lover.
Inside
the workshop, an extensive library of the most popular Italian
motorcycle magazines (like Moto Sprint, Motociclismo, Moto Tecnica,
Classic Bikes and Motociclismo d’Epoca) is available to all our
guests. Also in our apartments (all fitted with TV and DVD player),
you’ll find a collection of motorbike related titles.
The
worldwide famous racetrack of Mugello is within 45 minutes from Il
Vichiaccio, and if you wish you can easily get to the passes of the
Appennin Mountains, very popular among bikers from Tuscany and
Emilia, such as the Muraglione, the Futa, the Raticosa and the
Giogo.
We can take
you in motorcycle tours through the Chianti, entirely in off road
routes good to combine the beauty of the famous Tuscan landscapes
with the guide pleasure arriving as far as Siena and further on or
up.
We are happy to help you
planning routes across the hills of Chianti, which will allow you to
enjoy winding roads as well as breathtaking landscapes.

If you like travelling without the hassle of carrying around your
luggage, but you still want to find all the necessary (and even the
unnecessary, if you like ;-) ) when you get here, then don’t worry!
You can ship your luggage to our place and we will put it in your
room, ready for when you arrive. If you wish, we can even send it
back on your behalf when your holiday is over!

Don’t want to bother about arriving in time to do the shopping and
load a couple of six-packs on your precious superbike replica? No
problem!
Email us your shopping list. We’ll fill up your fridge and even let
you find the beer at the right temperature J
